I finished a project a few weeks back where I inserted a YouTube video, but since updating today to the latest version of iSpring I can't seem to insert YouTube clips anymore. I click on the iSpring menu chose YouTube and find the video, but the submit button and ok are greyed out and all I can click is cancel. Any help appreciated, especially on how to roll back to an earlier update if this is possible. I have already tried reinstalling iSpring. Project deadline is tommorrow and I'm freaking out!!

My work PC is running Windows 7 64bit and Office 2010. I have also downloaded the iSpring Suite demo and installed on my home PC which is running Windows 7 64bit and Office 365. I am experiencing the same issue with YouTube.

I decided to try using the embed code option instead, and although the preview works and I can add the code, when I publish the project it doesn't show :( Help Please!

It looks like Articulate users are also experiencing the issue:

Thank you folks for posting here!

Indeed, something was changed in YouTube API, and this option can work with fits and starts.
However, our specialist are working on this issue!

Thank you for your patience!

Thanks for the help, I've had nothing but problems with YouTube since they changed their custom url process last year. Anyway I have worked out a temporary work around solution for iSpring.

If I insert the YouTube embed code as a web object, it works in the web object preview window, but not when I view the published project in iSpring. However when I upload it as a SCORM object it does actually work in our LMS. Unfortuanelty I can't custom the size as easily as with the YouTube button, but it will do for now.

Thank you for your hint!

Yes, this can be used as a temporary solution only since it is not very convenient.
However, our developers determined what was changed in the player API and working on a solution for this.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Currently I'm running iSpring Presenter ver 7.0.0 Build 7416.

Still can't insert youtube videos, the preview and OK button is greyed out.

We are very sorry that you are experiencing this issue with one of the earlier iSpring products.
The iSpring Presenter project has been closed and it is no longer maintained. Therefore, ongoing free updates are not available for this product anymore.

However, you can insert YouTube videos with "Insert" option of PowerPoint.
