Hi, is it possible to set an expiry date for a presentation, either from within PowerPoint or Ispring that will work once it has been converted to a swf file.

Also, is there any information as to when flv files will be supported.

Thanks,

simmo

iSpring software supports the following protection settings: password protection, adding watermarks and domain restriction. The expiration date option is not available in iSpring, unfortunately.
Embedded .FLV files might be supported in one of the future versions of iSpring, but it's not scheduled yet.

Hello,

If you are unable to restrict useage by attaching an expiry date to a presentation - can you explain what domain restriction is and how to apply it?

There must be a way of restricting the use or viewing of a presentation beyond a certain time period...?

Currently iSpring doesn't support the expiration date option. It will be available in one of the future versions of iSpring.

Domain restriction is quite powerful security option, since even if someone downloads .swf from your website, he wouldn't be able to see it on the local computer and after uploading to any other domain as well. Generated Flash presentation will play only in the specified domain(s) and all its subdomains.

In order to set this option, please click Publish button on iSpring toolbar and proceed to "Protection" tab, there you can define your domains.
