I am sorry if this has been posted before, I can't find a way to search the forums.

I have a presentation that contains SmartArt that is animated with the SmartArt animation. The same presentation has regular animation.

The SmartArt is not animated in the iSpring generated EXE file.

I know that it is possible to ungroup SmartArt, but the reason I am using it is so that changes to the slide content are automatically formatted for me.

Am I doing something wrong or is it not supported?

I am using the latest iSpring Pro on Powerpoint 2007 on Windows 7.

Thanks,
D.

Hi, thanks for your post.

This issue is related to the fact that SmartArt objects are saved as raster images after the conversion that's why they lose animation effects. So to preserve the animation effects applied to the parts of a SmartArt, the better way is to ungroup it and animate each part as a separate object.
