We use ispring sdk and have been very happy. It handles animations well within a single swf file. We'd like to be able to break the animations into separate swf files if possible. In other words, if a slide has 5 animations, we'd end up with something like slide1a.swf, slide1b.swf, slide1c.swf, slide1d.swf, slide1e.swf.

We're aware of the Actionscript API which enables us to manually trigger each animation from within the same swf. This is helpful, but not exactly what we need. Ideally we'd end up with each animation creating a separate slide and swf file.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks.

Hello,
Thank you for your question.
iSpring SDK doesn't provide such functionality.
Since it is possible to control animation steps via ActionScript API we never actually planned implementing this feature into the SDK directly. We will appreciate it if you could give us more idea on what creating separate swf files per animation can be used for. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Tatiana,

We're familiar with the Actionscript API. It's helpful, but we provide a service that plays video along with the slides We use the video timeline to trigger the display of slides. In some cases, animations are almost like new slides and need to be synchronized with the point in the video where the new build is referenced.

We have a plan to accomplish this using the API, but it would be a lot better if we could work with each animation separately.

Best,

Rusty

I totally agree with rusty on this one, it would be far simple in a custom slide show app based on a timeline to have each animation onto individual slides as opposed to having to rely on an API that relies on AVM1!
