I realize that there's some docs that recommend queuing or sequencing conversion jobs, but I was hoping that the "05_multiple_threads" sample code might indicate otherwise.

When running the sample with 2 decks, I get the following error:
"Error: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

Am I hopeless in this effort?

I would recommend you to convert presentations sequentially. iSpring uses 1 CPU core only and multi-threading won't speed up or simplify conversion process. If you want to run this sample anyway please contact us at our support email in order to get a response on this question.

This sample code has been created for one of the previous versions of iSpring SDK and might cause some errors while running it with the newer one on different operating system & MS Office version.
