Hi,
I'm stuck, I need to load more than one converted PowerPoint SWF in a Flex/Air application. I have no problem to load one SWF, but if I want to load a second WSF instead of the first one, all that happens is that the frist one disappears. Can anyone please provide the code in order to unload an load several iSpring converted SWFs into Flex/Air.
Thanks a lot
Peter

Hi!

As a temporary solution I can recommend you to try the fix published in this thread:

http://community.ispringsolutions.com/v ... ?p=752#752

We are going to release the build with the fix in the nearest future.

Hi,

i have the same problem, i spent a lot of time but i havent't find a solution.

I'm working on Flash AS3 and i'm using the following code :

##########
lecteurSlide = new Sprite();
addChildAt(lecteurSlide,0);
loader = new BridgeLoader(lecteurSlide);
loader.addEventListener(BridgeEvent.PLAYER_INIT, onPlayerInit);
slidePlayer = loader.loadPresentation "as3bridge.swf", "presentation.swf");
#########

it works very well for the first prestation but i cannot load an other one

Thanks for your help,

Jerome

Is there any progress on this issue? The posted temporary solution does not apply to the code base whith which I was given to work.

Totally new bridge and presentation objects are being instantiated, but I still am unable to load a second swf in flex.

It has been several months since the initial post. Any follow-up? Please?

Hello :),

I intend to use your wonderful tool on a large scale, unfortunately I cannot manage to play more than one presentation inside my AIR application.

Does anyone has fixed, or found a solution for this issue. :?:

What I found is that ...after playing the first swf all other swf files have 0(zero) width and height.

Best Regards,
Adrian

Hello,

Could you please send us the minimal necessary code for testing so that we could reproduce the issue you have?

Thanks in advance!

I have the very same problem with loading two swf's in Flex :(

It's very frustrating as it massively impairs my ability to complete a project i'm currently working on to a tight deadline.

I've even tried putting in 2 presentation containers, and two seperate bridge references (and two bridge.swf files), but even then it still wont load another swf file, I just get a blank screen :(

Hello Evgeniya,

I use 99% of the code from "flex_example" project that you have provided with 'iSpring SDK 3.5', just that after the first presentations completes the playback, I load in the exact same way another presentation.

And what I get is a black screen...
I do get the second presentation playback_complete event, but as I have told you in the previous post:
I see the presentation width/height as zero and even if I set it to 800x600 or whatever.. it does not change the size.

I also cannot load the converted presentation swf as a normal flash file in flex/air. Using SWFLoader or Loader control I get a black screen. Why is that possible when any other flash (any version) loads just fine, and the converted ispring swf's fail.

If it's really needed I will provide also the source code for this via e-mail.

Thanks for your response :)

Well, i've fixed this my end at last!

I'm sure how or why this works, but it seems to for me anyway!

I swapped round the loading of bridge SWF and presentation SWF and voila! Happy days!

In my AS3BridgeSample.AS I have changed the init to this:

Code:
public function AS3BridgeSample(presentationContainer:PresentationContainer, swfFile:String, bridge:String)
      {
         m_presentationContainer = presentationContainer;
         PRESENTATION_URL = bridge;
         BRIDGE_URL = swfFile;

         initBridgeLoader();
      }

Interesting to know if this works for anyone else!

Actually ignore that as it doesn't work - you can no longer control the .swf

Which makes me think there is something very badly wrong buried away in the code somewhere. :roll:

Hi ChrisH!

To resolve the issue we do neet to have the minimum code sample that will be enough to reproduce the issue on our computers.

Please send it to our support (support@ispringsolutions.com)

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
