Hi,

I've got a Java Web-App running in Apache Tomcat that shells out to iSpringSDK.exe to perform PPT-SWF conversions. When I run as my local, logged on user everything works. But when running as a service, under the SYSTEM account, I get this:

Quote:
Starting conversion
PowerPoint error:
PPT Exception in file .\src\PptPresentation.cpp at line 112

I've had a look at http://www.ispringsolutions.com/articles/iis_setup.html but nothing there seems relevant. The SYSTEM account seems to have local automation privileges, all should be good.

My gory details:
  • Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium
  • Java 6
  • Tomcat 6

tia,

Stu

Thanks.

I didn't get anywhere with any of the suggestions. :( 64-bit Windows 7 is not a requirement for me, so I'll use an older 32-bit version of Windows, which I assume will be less problematic.
