Best Practice for Backing up or Saving Project Files
I am new to ISpring but previously used Articulate Studio. And on my first project I have immediately lost the interaction and quiz files. And I did experience this with Articulate Studio.
How do you ensure these are saved? I had not yet published the project. And had the project PowerPoint open and was continuously working on it through out the morning. The PowerPoint has auto save enabled.
Upon returning from lunch, the files were missing. What am I doing wrong? I have checked all of the cached folders, deleted folders and other folders on my computer.

Hello, Robbi!
I'm sorry that you're experiencing this issue.
This can happen when the project is stored in a shared/network folder.
These folders have strict security settings, so the files created automatically by iSpring can be deleted. To avoid that, please keep iSpring projects in a local folder only.If you use OneDrive or SharePoint synchronization, can you move the project (it consists of the presentation itself and the source files) to a local drive and turn off the synchronization? Here are the instructions on how to turn off OneDrive: Turn off, disable, or uninstall OneDrive
Please do not separate or rename the files and folders created by iSpring, as the connection between files will be lost, and you will have to add them back manually. More detailed information on how to work with the iSpring project can be found here: Managing Projects in iSpring
Here is an article on how to troubleshoot the issue with lost files: Troubleshooting problems with project files
Hope this helps. If the issue persist, please, email at support@ispring.com, so we will dig deeper into the issue.
Have a nice day!
