Pause the project if the user is inattentive

i am trying ispring and i am really enjoying it.
I have to build courses in SCORM format with very restrictive rules. One of these is that the user must not get distracted and must stay in front of the slides all the time. I need that when the user opens a new window or another application the player automatically pauses. it's possible?

  • Hi Angelo,

Thank you for your question! Yes, actually, this is how our SCORM courses work :)

If a user opens a SCORM course created with iSpring and then goes to another tab/window, the player will pause automatically.

    Hope this answers your question!

Hi Mira, thank you very much for your reply.
I tried with our lms and it works perfectly if you open a new tab, but the lesson doesn't stop if I open a new window.
      I made a video:

      Am I wrong something?

      Hi Angelo,

Thank you for your reply! I will be happy to answer your question!

This works when you open another tab/window full screen, in other words, when you can't see the course. Try this out!

    • Polly Shepard it's a shame because some clever ones use double screens or small windows to keep the lesson going without following it.
