iSpring Championship – Winter 2023 Guidelines

Hey there, iSpringers!

We are pleased to announce the Winter 2023 iSpring Championship, a contest to select the best online courses created with iSpring Suite Max. If you’re ready to show off your fantastic authoring skills, feel free to enter to win!

Regardless of whether you’re an experienced instructional designer or just starting out in eLearning, enter your work and see how you stack up against your peers. You can submit your work from January 23 to February 28. The winners will be announced on April 4.

How it works:

Write “I’m in!” in the comment section below this post. We’ll contact you and provide you with login details to your iSpring Suite Max account (we’ll give you a fully functioning license for free for the duration of the championship). Then you’ll create a course following the guidelines. We’ll then share it in the iSpring Championship category of the Community Forum. And all that’s left to do is wait for the judges and community members to select the winners!

Here are the prizes:

1st place — a 2-year iSpring Suite Max license

2nd place — a 1-year iSpring Suite Max license

3rd place — a 6-month iSpring Suite Max license

The work voted most popular by our Community Forum members will receive our special Audience Award — a 3-month iSpring Suite Max license and the video course “How to Create an Interactive Online Course” in its best PRO plan from the iSpring Academy.

Plus: all the winners (including the Audience Award) will get a 1-year Netflix subscription or a 1-year YouTube Premium subscription or a $150 Amazon gift card (the choice is yours)!

Meet the judges of the iSpring Championship:

  • Mike Taylor — Mike is a regular and highly-rated speaker at industry events, and consults on learning design and technology at Nationwide in Columbus, Ohio.

  • Anna Poli — A Senior Instructional Designer at iSpring and author of the video course “How to Create an Interactive Online Course.”

  • Kate Rebbek — An L&D Manager at iSpring Academy.

They will select the winners based on these judging criteria:

  • Creativity (20%) — a unique approach to presenting information (structure, animation, language, etc.)
  • Visual design (20%) — eye-catching slides
  • Consistency (20%) — courses stick to their subject matter
  • Effectiveness (20%) — courses help learners successfully gain new knowledge and skills
  • Compliance (20%) — adheres to iSpring Championship’s terms and conditions

To participate in the iSpring Championship, you only need to take three steps:

1. Write “I’m in!” in the comment section below this post.

2. Create an awe-inspiring online course with iSpring Suite Max.

Your course must include:

  • 12-25 slides
  • An intro slide with a description of the course (we will use this description when we share your course in the Community Forum)
  • A quiz with at least one drag-and-drop question
  • An interaction

Please note: You must submit a new project. We will not accept courses that have been submitted to any of our previous contests.

3. Upload your work to the iSpring Space account (here are instructions on how to do this).

Please note: when publishing your work to iSpring Space, fill in the checkbox Upload source files. If you don’t, judges will not be able to evaluate all aspects of your course.

That’s it! Now, your work will be uploaded to our Community Forum, and members can vote for it.

Please, read the full iSpring Championship terms and conditions. By writing “I’m in!” in the comment section below, you agree to these terms and conditions.
