Button "Double playback speed" in HTML5

I am using the iSpring Suite to publish LMS (SCORM 1.2) for integration in Moodle platforms.

My students are asking for a button to double the video playback speed (or to adjust the playback speed to any playback speed factor).  Are there any plans to integrate this feature? This will be very valuable for the users!

Tobias, thank you so much for the feature request 👍 Our Product Development team keeps an eye on this topic!

If there is anybody else who really needs this feature, please vote for it 😉

  • I always increase the playback speed to things if I have the option. I think this would be a great add. That's my vote.

We are also looking at this based on feedback from our students. I would be great to have a playback speed option.

  • I would really appreciate it if you could add this feature. The 1x -> 2x feature is basically standard on all video players at this point and many of my users have asked for it.

  • Hi Tobias Hossfeld ,

We are glad to announce that we've released this feature!🎉

Did you have a chance to check how it works? We will be more than happy to get your feedback🙂

    Thank you!

  • Hi, the feature is a nice addition and it works well. However, I can't seem to find the setting is that disables it. Can you please help me?

    • Michele Lavazza , hi! You can disable it in the player settings. Go ahead and click on Player --> Design --> Create a custom layout --> find Bottom Bar --> deselect Playback Speed (please see the screenshots below).

      Hope this helps :)
