Conversion Size Headache
Author | Message |
I have a 32mb powerpoint file with many jpeg images and when I convert it without editing the jpegs, it converts into a nice small html5 file with the images saved as jpegs, but if I add a border or any formatting in powerpoint to the images, even though the ppt is still small, when converted to html5 it jumps up to 124mb because its saving all the images as large png files. Is there any way around this?

Thank you for the post!

I have done that but even setting compression to the lowest possible setting the png files come out much bigger that in the original ppt. This does not happen with jpeg images. Why is a 32mb ppt presentation with image compression settings at lossy not converting the png to jpegs and coming out at 124mb after conversion?
