When ever I start a recording an initialize page pops up and I cant record. fixing this would be great.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue.
I believe that the issue can be found in the fact that iSpring Free Cam can’t capture some of the system sounds. This issue can also occur if by some reason your device can't provide the requested sound quality that is required for iSpring Free Cam.

Please try to disable your microphone and system sounds recording when you use the program.

1)Click on Settings
2) Unselect Microphone and Record system sounds and click on OK

As an additional option, you can try to install iSpring on another computer and see how it works there.
Or you can install iSpring Suite 8 and try to record your screen with iSpring Screen Recording that allows to save your recordings to mp4.
