I have an interactive presentation where I have buttons with links in it. I would like some slides to advance the animation on click, but not advance to the next slide on a click

How can I do this? The only option I have in iSpring Presenter 7 is to 'Advance with gestures or mouse click'. This advances both animations and slides, which is not my desired effect.

PowerPoint treats slide transitions as animation steps. It's not possible with PowerPoint to make animations appear on click but restrict slide advance on click at the same time.

You can try trigger approach. Assign a trigger action on some object that will make some objects appear.
