I have created a glossary interaction, but would like to have it as a resource item or resident on the player (top, bottom, or side).

I am not seeing a way to do this. Can it be done? And if yes, how.

Thank you for posting here!
With iSpring Suite 8 you can whether to publish your Interaction as a standalone Interaction or insert it to a PPT slide and publish it as a part of your PowerPoint course.
If you would like to make an Interaction a part of your PPT, it can only be embedded into a PPT slide. There is no a built-in option that allows to move an Interaction to the top/bottom bar of the player.
There are a couple of workarounds:
1) You can publish your Interaction to Flash and you will get a standalone .swf file: Publish--> Desktop (Flash).
Then you can add that published .swf file as resources to your presentation:
This way, your users will be able to launch the Interaction when clicking on the .swf file under the resources.
The issue is that Flash format id not supported on mobile devices and your Interaction won't work on phones and tablets.
2) You can publish your Interaction to html5 and upload it to your website, for example.
Once your Interaction is uploaded to a website, you can add a link to that Interaction as resources to your presentation. This way, your Interaction will be opened in a new tab and will be accessible from mobile devices.
