Hello,

When we generate an HTML5 presentation from a PowerPoint, the player has a "full screen" icon. However, clicking on this icon doesn't actually result in full screen - it just changes the layout of the presentation inside it's <iframe>

Is there a way to setup this icon so the presentation occupies the full screen?

Thanks,

Steve.

Hello Steve,

Please make sure that the iframe has the "allowfullscreen=1" parameter.
Hope this helps!

Thank you - we did have allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" (which I think is the same?). I tried changing it to:

<iframe src="/path/to/presentation/index.html" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe>

But unfortunately it still doesn't work. There is a "full screen" button, but it simply expands the presentation within its <iframe>

Thank you, I have Googled the problem, and I wonder if its because the version of iSpring I have installed is quite old (iSpring Pro 7)? A colleague has an up-to-date version, so maybe I'll try getting them to run the same conversion.

I found a nice workaround to this problem (adding an event handler to the full screen button that causes the <iframe> to fill the browser window whilst full screen mode is active). If anyone else comes across the same issue, I'm happy to share.

Hi Pham,

Thank you for posting here!
If you are using iSpring 8:
1) Open your presentation
2) Click Publish → Advanced and disable Show slide video controls
3) Publish it and test on mobile

If you use iSpring 9:
1) Open your presentation
2) Click on PowerPoint → Slide show and un-check Show media controls
3) Publish and test on mobile

I hope that helps!
